My name is Kathleen Bryan, and I am an artist from Scottsboro, Alabama. I started pursing artwork an outlet to express the things that bring me life, bring me joy, and bring me comfort. I started by painting with acrylic paints and doing single images, but more recently have moved into creating collections of repeating patterns. I now use a combination of acrylic painting and Photoshop for my artwork. I grew up on a farm, and my Bachelor’s degree is in Animal Science, which has definitely influenced some of my earlier artwork. Today I am mostly inspired by nature, and it is expressed in the themes of my designs.

Art Licensing with Roaring Brook Art

I partnered with Roaring Brook Art licensing agency to paint acrylic paintings for use on products such as wall art and pillows. The left photo below is a snapshot from Manual Woodworkers and Weaver’s catalog featuring several of my paintings on their climaweave pillows. The right photo below is an example of my artwork on various websites such as Walmart.com.

Repeat Patterns Sold on Spoonflower.com

I regularly create new repeating patterns to sell on Spoonflower.com for fabric, wallpaper, and home decor. I sell these as print on demand products, and I also use Spoonflower.com as a printing service for partnerships with local interior designers.
